Having danced her whole life, Emily trained professionally as a dancer and went on to work in the musical theatre profession for 8 years. During that time fitness was a huge part of her journey, including attending Zumba classes which is how she fell in love with the class. Emily started teaching Zumba in gyms in Bromley then quickly went on to hiring venues to run community classes.
A note from Emily:
Within a few weeks of teaching I quickly realised that I was providing more than just a fitness class, friendships were being built, people were losing weight, confidence was growing and most importantly, people were reporting back their improvements in their health, both mental and physical. I became addicted to helping people improve their lives.
After four years of teaching Zumba Emily trained in the exciting new HIIT workout, STRONG Nation- opening classes up to the non dancers of the area and those who needed a bigger push, fitness wise. STRONG Nation has totally transformed so many of her student’s physiques and taken their strength and fitness to a whole new level.
Next, Emily qualified as a Flowetic instructor- providing a beautiful low impact dance fitness class, opening up again to a different category, those needing something more gentle on the body. Most recently she has qualified as a Circl mobility instructor. This mat based class is transformative in improving functional movement, strength and flexibility in the joints and muscles.
Whatever your goals are, whatever your fitness level, there is a class which will suit you. Coming to one of Emily’s classes you will find not only an instructor but a constant support and friendship from Emily and the other class members.
